About Swiss Trustee
A regulated Swiss trustee company, managed by experienced lawyers, dedicated exclusively to trust services.
Who we are
Swiss Trustee is the editorial and commercial platform of Montaigne Trust Ltd, a Geneva-based trustee company, 100% Swiss-owned, authorised under the Financial Institutions Act (FinIA) and subject to the prudential supervision of SO-FIT.
Montaigne Trust is registered in the commercial register under number CHE-482.145.948. It conducts its activities exclusively in and from Switzerland, with offices located at 26 boulevard Georges-Favon, 1204 Geneva.
Our specialisation
Unlike many market participants that offer a broad range of financial, tax or legal services, Montaigne Trust has chosen to focus exclusively on trust-related services. This specialisation allows us to concentrate all resources, expertise and attention on a single area of competence.
Our services cover the entire lifecycle of a trust: structuring and establishment, day-to-day administration, compliance and regulatory reporting, banking coordination and asset oversight, Private Trust Company (PTC) setup, and governance advisory.
Our positioning
Montaigne Trust primarily serves international high-net-worth families, entrepreneurs and their advisors (lawyers, tax advisors, family offices) with connections to Switzerland, Monaco, the United States or the Middle East. Our approach is built on rigour, transparency, confidentiality and a long-term commitment.
Affiliated firm
Montaigne Trust is closely affiliated with PBM Attorneys-at-Law Ltd, a specialist law firm based in Geneva and Lausanne. This affiliation ensures direct access to high-level legal expertise in trust law, international tax and regulatory compliance.
Our commitment
Every situation is unique. We do not offer standardised solutions. Our process always begins with a confidential, no-obligation assessment of your family, wealth and jurisdictional context, before recommending the structure best suited to your objectives.
